Description
Mark has recently been nominated for The Mousetrap Awards 2019, following on from his performances as Jackie in Caroline or, Change in 2018-2019 at the Playhouse Theatre, West End.
In 2018 he was awarded a British Theatre Academy MBE award and nominated for two awards. Also performed at the Music Theatre International (Europe) Festivals at the Leicester Curve, and in British Theatre Academy productions Fiddler on The Roof (Leatherhead theatre), Goodnight Mr Tom (Southwark Playhouse), as well as Annie Jr in 2017 (Hampton Hill theatre).
At the age of 11, Mark composed a poem ‘To Love or To Lose’ inspired by the Bob Dylan Project ‘Forever Young Showcase’ organised by WAPPY in partnership, with CCS Libraries Ealing. He won an award which was presented by the Mayor of Ealing, and the poem has since been published.
At the age of 10, he was a stand in in ITV’s The Voice Kids UK. He also featured in the Puffin Virtually Live webcast for Roald Dahl Day, and featured in a Corporate Child Cycling Safety Video.
In 2018, he played lead roles in Short films including Trigger Finger (Nick Nevern), A Surprise (Kumara Raja), Corporate training video (Intercontinental Hotel Group), and in 2017 Trespassers (Met Film School), and Music Video ‘Settle’ (Arlo/Miri Stevens).
Mark trains in performing arts, and also successfully completed training for West End School of Rock, Thriller Live, and Lion King.
Mark has provided his voice for clients such as Publicis Life Brands, HMRC Radio campaign, Asthma UK and Philips, Alzheimer’s Society.
